After missing three games with a right ankle inversion sprain, Stephen Curry returned to the starting lineup and scored 31 points Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Curry played 33 minutes despite the March 7 right ankle sprain, finishing 12-24 from the field, 3-10 from 3-point range and 4-5 from the free throw line.
The Golden State Warriors went 1-2 without Curry and are 1-5 without him this season. They improved to 35-31 with the 128-121 win.
Curry is averaging a team-leading 26.9 points along with 4.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists while shooting 44.9% from the field and 40.7% from 3-point range.
With the win, Golden State moved into a ninth-place tie with the Lakers with 16 games remaining this season.
