Stephen Curry hobbled to the Warriors' locker room midway through the 2nd quarter and has been listed by the team as TBD to return.
Curry, who has chronic ankle issues, appeared to have his lower left leg rolled up on by Marcus Smart while diving for a loose ball. He grimaced on the ground before limping away off the floor.
Warriors PR Tweeted that Curry, who has suffered chronic ankle sprains throughout his career causing 2 surgeries on his right ankle, is suffering from left foot soreness.
The 2-time MVP, who celebrated his 34th birthday on Monday, did not come out with the team for the 2nd half.
Curry has only missed 6 games this season with various ailments, including a hand contusion and quad contusion. Jordan Poole will step in as the No. 1 guard and offensive initiator in his absence.
Update:
The Warriors announced at 8:28 pm that Curry would not return with left foot soreness.
