Pittsburgh Steelers T.J. Watt Injury Update

A concerning injury for Pittsburgh Steelers fans in Week 15 as their star pass rusher T.J. Watt left the game during the fourth quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles.

After rushing the Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, Watt stumbled and went down with a non-contact injury. He was able to hobble off the field under his own power, but in pain and went to the medical tent then to the locker room.

By video we have worry for a left foot Jones fracture which is usually hard to see by initial video, we will wait to see for initial news but worry for a significant foot issue which would be a huge loss if confirmed for the Steelers playoffs run.

Post game Coach Tomlin had a promising update on Watt stating that he has a low ankle sprain.

Stay tuned for more analysis on T.J. Watt.

Seems like the news is good on #TJWatt 🎉🥳🍾 Completely possible that he has a low inversion ankle sprain on left during the millisecond that it is out of the frame. The lack of injury mechanism made me unnecessarily worry about a 5th metatarsal injury. Low ankle still an issue

#TJWatt Let's hope/pray that this is not a left 5th metatarsal Jones fracture. Saying it so it doesn't come true.
