The Seattle Seahawks enter mandatory minicamp with several offensive contributors still working their way back from significant injuries. Running back Zach Charbonnet remains the team's biggest injury storyline after suffering a torn ACL during the playoffs, while wide receiver Tory Horton and running back Kenny McIntosh continue progressing through lengthy recoveries of their own. Seattle remains optimistic that several key players will be available for training camp, but Charbonnet's timeline could extend well into the 2026 season.

Zach Charbonnet - ACL

Charbonnet remains sidelined as he recovers from the torn ACL he suffered during the divisional round of the playoffs, an injury that required surgery in February. The timing of the procedure has pushed his recovery timeline into the 2026 season. The Seahawks have taken a cautious approach with the young running back as he works his way back from the significant knee injury.

Given the timing of the injury, Charbonnet is expected to miss at least the early portion of training camp and could have his availability for the start of the season impacted as Seattle manages his recovery.

Tory Horton - Shin

Horton has been dealing with a shin injury that limited his participation during minicamp and portions of the offseason program.

The outlook remains positive, however, as the rookie receiver is expected to be ready early in training camp if his recovery continues on its current trajectory.

Kenny McIntosh - Knee

McIntosh remains sidelined during Seahawks OTAs as he continues recovering from the knee injury that cost him the entire 2025 season. The running back is still in the rehabilitation phase and has not returned to practice participation. He is expected to attend mandatory minicamp but will likely remain limited or a non-participant as he works toward a return. The Seahawks are hopeful McIntosh will be ready to compete by training camp.

AJ Barner - Shoulder/Ankle

Barner is recovering from two offseason surgeries that were performed shortly after the Super Bowl to address multiple injuries he played through during the second half of the 2025 season and playoffs, including issues involving his hip, shoulder, knee, ankle, calf, and elbow. While he has been present for Seahawks OTAs and actively participating in meetings and rehab work, he has not yet returned to on-field drills.

The injury is not believed to be serious, and the Seahawks remain optimistic that the tight end will be fully available for training camp with no long-term concerns.
