Damien Lewis Injury Update
Based on limited video, the Pro Football Docs were initially concerned that he suffered a right ankle dislocation and fractured fibula with ligament damage, an injury that would likely require season-ending surgery.
The injury mechanism was similar to that of Prescott and Commanders' center Chase Roullier, who each suffered ankle dislocations and fractures.
The third-year offensive lineman had his right leg rolled up on by Bears' tackler Angelo Blackson when he took down Deejay Dallas.
Goodness @Seahawks OL Abraham Lucas rolling one up!!!!
Multiple players immediately called for the medical team, and he has since been ruled out with a right ankle injury.
Lewis, a 2020 third-round pick from the 2019 national champion LSU team, has started 29 games for Seattle and recently shifted from right guard to left guard.
