During the fourth quarter of the NFL Week 13 game between the Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints, Saints versatile Tight End Taysom Hill was carted off the field after taking a hit from a Rams defender to his left leg on a run.
By video Hill suffered a significant left knee injury involving potential ligaments torn with bone bruise/chip fracture.
Hill will not return today and will likely face an extended absence with fear for it being a season ending injury.
This season Hill has 6 rushing touchdowns including 3 in Week 12.
In Hill's college career he sustained a fracture to his left leg and has dealt with numerous injuries in recent years.
Stay tuned for more updates on Taysom Hill this week.
