Saints QB Derek Carr Exits Week 14 with Significant Left Wrist Injury

New Orleans Saints QB Derek Carr exited late in the fourth quarter after suffering a left wrist injury in the Week 14 game against the New York Giants.

Carr suffered the injury when he went airborne on a run in an attempt to leap a Giants defender to make the first down line.

By video, when Carr fell on his outstretched left hand, he possibly suffered a scaphoid fracture. If confirmed after scans this would be a season ending injury for Carr. It has been reported that Carr left the stadium with a cast on his left wrist.

In addition, Carr is being evaluated for a concussion.

In his absence, backup QB Jake Haener will likely play the remainder of the game.

Stay tuned for more updates this week on Derek Carr.
