Rashod Bateman Injury: Baltimore WR Expected to Miss Weeks After Foot Reinjury
2 min read • October 31, 2022
Baltimore Ravens head coach told reporters Monday that Rashod Bateman is expected to miss weeks after aggravating his left foot injury in Thursday's win over the Buccaneers.
By video, Bateman appeared to aggravate the Lisfranc sprain in his left foot while pass blocking on a screen in the second quarter.
Bateman returned for one target with under 5 minutes left in the half, but did not play after that.
He has been dealing with the injury since Week 4 and missed Weeks 5 and 6.
The 22-year-old would be fortunate to return after the team's Week 10 bye, according to the Pro Football Docs. Week 12 against Jacksonville or Week 13 against the Broncos are likely more realistic targets.
He has 15 catches for 285 yards and 2 touchdowns in 6 games this season.
Devin Duvernay will likely see increased action with Bateman out.
Ravens vs. Saints Week 9 Odds
Baltimore face the Saints in New Orleans in Week 9. They are favored by 3 points and the over/under is 48.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
