NFL Week 2 Injury Report: Buccaneers vs Saints

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - SIC Score 81.6

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers already have one of the most banged up offenses in the league. This week, running back Leonard Fournette and wide receivers Julio Jones, Mike Evans, Russell Gage and Breshad Perriman are questionable. The biggest level of concern lies with Fournette, who is nursing a hamstring injury, followed by Gage's hamstring injury and Evans' calf ailment.

Tampa Bay will also likely be down 3 of their starting 5 offensive linemen. Left tackle Donovan Smith is doubtful to play through his hyperextended elbow and right tackle Tristan Wirfs is questionable with an oblique injury he played through Week 1. Veteran center Ryan Jensen is out for at least a majority of the season with an undisclosed knee injury and left guard Aaron Stinnie is done for the year with a torn ACL.

New Orleans Saints - SIC Score 86.9

Alvin Kamara had a lackluster performance Week 1 and picked up a rib injury in the fourth quarter. The Pro Football Docs believe he could play after taking a rib block injection to numb the pain from his rib cartilage, but Adam Schefter is reporting he is likely to miss the game.

Jameis Winston is questionable with a back injury, but will likely play through the issue. Michael Thomas appeared to be past his hamstring injury, but still looked stiff at times in the win over the Falcons. Thomas netted 2 touchdown catches and should continue being effective in the redzone because of his towering figure.

Buccaneers vs Saints Week 2 Odds

Tampa Bay is favored by 2.5-points on the road against the Bengals and the over/under is 43.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Buccaneers are -250 to win the NFC South and the Saints are +260.
