Brock Bowers - Knee

Raiders star TE Brock Bowers left Sunday’s game after taking a hit to the right hip/thigh and landing on his left knee. He stayed in the game briefly but limped off, favoring the knee. By video, @profootballdoc says this does not appear to be an ACL injury and is not season-ending. The likely concern is a low-grade PCL sprain, which could allow Bowers to return soon.

Drake London - Shoulder

Falcons WR Drake London suffered what appears to be an AC joint sprain late in the game on his end-zone play. According to @profootballdoc, this is an injury that can be managed with treatment and even a game-day injection if needed. London may miss some practice time but is expected to play through it and remain available going forward.

Xavier Worthy - Shoulder

Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy has a confirmed shoulder dislocation. According to Pro Football Doc, he is expected to miss some time and may land on short-term IR, but can potentially return this season with a shoulder harness. His catch radius could be affected, but surgery will likely wait until the offseason. Good news: this is not a season-ending injury, and Worthy should be able to contribute later in the year if recovery goes as planned.

Chris Olave - Concussion Check

Saints WR Chris Olave took a big hit that caused a brief scare, but he was cleared of concussion protocol. Pro Football Doc says it was mostly a chest/“wind knocked out” situation and not a head injury. However, given Olave’s history of multiple concussions last season, Pro Football Doc warns that his next concussion could sideline him for a month or more — not just a week. Staying healthy will be critical for his availability this year.

George Kittle - Hamstring

49ers TE George Kittle pulled up with a mild hamstring issue and was held out as a precaution. @profootballdoc says the team wisely avoided risking a minor injury turning into a multi-week absence. Similarly, RB Christian McCaffrey’s issue appears to have been a calf cramp, not a strain, which is good news for his Week 2 outlook. The 49ers are taking a cautious approach early in the season to keep their stars healthy long-term.
