The NBA season is a marathon, not a sprint. Every week brings new twists in the ongoing battle between talent and durability. From nagging soreness to major setbacks, injuries shape rotations, influence playoff hopes, and redefine team dynamics across the league. Each week, Sports Injury Central breaks down the latest updates, timelines, and recovery outlooks for players around the association, providing expert insight into how health trends could impact both the short-term box scores and the long-term championship picture.

*Thursday 11/13 Update

Jalen Brunson - New York Knicks

Was spotted leaving MSG in a walking boot and crutches after spraining his right ankle in the final minutes of the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game vs Orlando, Brunson has a history of ankle injuries, particularly his right ankle as that is the one he injured in the playoffs last season. The severity of the sprain isn't known yet, but he will be monitored

*Wednesday 11/12 Update

Bradley Beal - Los Angeles Clippers

His season so far has been marred by an injured hip and today it was revealed by the Los Angeles Clippers that Beal has been diagnosed with a left hip fracture and will undergo season-ending surgery. This was discovered following further imaging after having exited Saturday's matchup.

Lu Dort, Aaron Wiggins, Jalen Williams - Oklahoma City Thunder

All three players for the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder will sit in a highly anticipated matchup vs the Los Angeles Lakers. Dort is out with a shoulder injury, Wiggins a thigh injury and Jalen Williams continues to miss time to start the season with a wrist injury.

*Tuesday 11/11 Update

Joel Embiid - Philadelphia 76ers

Joel Embiid has been held out for knee soreness as of late. Specifically, right knee soreness. The procedure he had this offseason was to address injuries in his left knee. This is a potentially troubling update for the oft-injured center.

Jalen Green - Phoenix Suns

Will be re-evaluated in four-to-six weeks after sustaining a hamstring strain on Saturday. An aggravation of a previous groin strain so it would make sense for Phoenix to take a cautious approach with their young star and this soft-tissue injury

Bradley Beal - Los Angeles Clippers

Is questionable for Monday’s game vs the Hawks due to left hip soreness, an ailment he’s been dealing with this season. Beal exited Saturday's loss to the Suns due to that left hip soreness, though he was able to finish the game.

Jalen Green - Phoenix Suns

Exited Saturday’s game in the first quarter with a hamstring injury and has been ruled out for Monday’s game vs New Orleans. Hamstring injuries are very rarely minimal missed time injuries, expect him to miss more than just Monday’s game.

Anthony Davis - Dallas Mavericks

Listed As Questionable for Monday’s game against the Bucks. Davis is in jeopardy of missing his sixth consecutive contest due to a strained left calf, and given his history with this type of injury specifically, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he continues to miss time beyond Monday.

LaMelo Ball - Charlotte Hornets

Ball will miss his fourth consecutive contest on Monday due to a right ankle impingement, and his next opportunity to play will come Wednesday against the Bucks.

Austin Reaves - Los Angeles Lakers

After missing three games with a mild groin strain, Austin Reaves’ status has been upgraded for Monday’s game against Charlotte to questionable. There is no guarantee he’ll play on Monday, but he is with the team on a five game road trip and he does appear to be trending in the right direction towards a return.
