Los Angeles Rams defensive end Myles Garrett will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery and be placed on injured reserve, sidelining him for at least the next four games.
Garrett will be eligible to return to the Rams' roster in Week 6.

Pro Football Doc said Garrett's recovery timeline will depend on what is found and addressed during the arthroscopic procedure.
If Garrett undergoes a meniscus trim, Pro Football Doc expects him to have a chance to return after his four-game IR stint. If the procedure requires a meniscus repair, however, Garrett would be sidelined significantly longer.

Garrett missed most of training camp with what Rams head coach Sean McVay described as swelling in his knee.
After playing against the San Francisco 49ers, Garrett described his performance as “the worst version of myself that I've put out there.”
