Myles Garrett Injury: Browns DE Suffers Dislocated Toe During Pro Bowl

After logging his second straight regular season campaign with 16 sacks, Browns defensive end Myles Garrett suffered a dislocated toe on his right foot during the gridiron gauntlet event on Pro Bowl Sunday.

By video, Garrett likely did not suffer a dislocated big toe, which could have had offseason implications, according to the Pro Football Docs.

The injury appeared to be to his pinky toe or one of the middle three toes, based on video of him limping and reaching down to check on the injury after it happened.

If he had injured his big toe, it would have likely meant surgery and a less than ideal recovery which could have bled into the next regular season. The report that his X-rays came back negative likely means there was no associated fracture or the toe self reduced - slid back into place on its own.

Myles Garrett Injury History

The former 2017 No. 1 overall pick missed just one game this season despite suffering an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder during a solo car crash on Sept. 26, 2022.

Before the crash, he had 3 sacks, 5 solo tackles and 4 tackles for a loss in 3 games.

After the crash, he logged 13 sacks, 32 solo tackles and 14 tackles for a loss in 13 games.

Garrett has played in 84 of 98 possible games (85.7%) for the Browns in his 6-year career, including two first team All-Pro selections, two second team All-Pro selections and four Pro Bowls.

He missed 4 games with a left foot sprain in 2017, 1 game with a concussion in 2017, 2 games with COVID-19 in 2020 and 6 games for suspension in 2019.
