Mike Williams Injury: Chargers WR Leaves With Ankle Sprain

Chargers wideout Mike Williams exited late in the fourth quarter with a right ankle sprain and did not return to the game.
By video, Williams appeared to suffer a high-ankle sprain when he had his leg landed on by Mike Jackson, according to the Pro Football Docs.
The No. 2 wide receiver had to be helped off the field and into the locker room and did not appear to put weight on his right leg.
He will likely undergo X-rays to rule out a fracture, then an MRI to determine the amount of damage to the ankle ligaments.
With some luck, Williams will be able to return after the Week 8 bye. Williams had 7 catches for 86 yards and a touchdown on 9 targets before exiting.
The Chargers face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 9.
Keenan Allen missed four weeks with a hamstring injury, but was active for Week 7. He had two catches for 11 yards.
