Mike Boone Injury: Broncos RB Suffers Ankle Sprain Against Chiefs

Denver Broncos running back Mike Boone was carted off after suffering a right ankle injury against the Chiefs.

By video, Boone appeared to suffer a high ankle sprain when his right leg was landed on by a Chiefs defender, according to the Pro Football Docs.

The fifth-year rusher suffered a right high ankle sprain in Week 7 and missed the next six weeks.

Given the Broncos record, this injury could end Boone's season if the high ankle sprain is confirmed.

Latavius Murray and Marlon Mack are the lone healthy active running backs.

Chase Edmonds is on IR and Javonte Williams is out for the season with a torn ACL.

Denver plays the Cardinals at home in Week 15.
