Micah Parsons Injury: Cowboys Edge Rusher Leaves With Apparent Knee Sprain

Update: Parsons returned to the game, an excellent sign that he will be available for the Thanksgiving game.

Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons exited late in the third quarter against the Vikings with an apparent left knee injury.

By video, Parsons appeared to suffer a mild MCL sprain in his left knee when he had his left leg landed on by a Vikings offensive lineman on a pass rush, according to the Pro Football Docs.

The second-year talent out of Penn State walked off the field before he was deemed questionable to return.

Dallas was leading 37-3 when the injury occurred and it would be a big surprise to see him return to the game.

The Cowboys face the Giants on Thanksgiving in Week 12 and Parsons is likely to be available.

He had 4 tackles, 4 quarterback hits, 2 sacks and 1 tackle for a loss before exiting. Parsons ranks second in the league this season with 10 sacks.
