Marcus Shaver Jr. Injury: Boise State Guard Suffers Ankle Sprain

Boise State point guard Marcus Shaver Jr. suffered a right ankle injury in the first half of the NCAA tournament game against Northwestern and was helped to the locker room.

By video, Shaver suffered a mild/moderate inversion ankle sprain while grabbing a rebound.

He went down and immediately checked out of the game, but has returned in the second half.

Shaver had the ankle taped up and is playing through it, but it will be tough for him to be dynamic as the team's point guard.

Shaver had 2 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in the first half.
