Michigan star forward Yaxel Lendeborg said he “absolutely” plans to play in Monday night’s national title game against UConn after suffering a low-grade left MCL sprain, a small bone bruise and a low-grade left ankle sprain against Arizona. Michigan trainer Chris Williams said the MRI on Lendeborg’s knee came back “very clear” Sunday morning. Lendeborg is the Wolverines’ leading scorer, averaging 15.1 points per game.

#2 UConn - 89.0

UConn guard Solo Ball did not practice Sunday because of a foot injury as the Huskies prepare for Monday night’s national championship game against Michigan. Coach Dan Hurley said Ball has “some type of foot sprain” and is in a walking boot, leaving his status uncertain for the title game. Hurley and Ball said they will rely on the guidance of UConn’s medical staff before deciding on his availability. Ball is the Huskies’ third-leading scorer, averaging 12.9 points per game.
