The Las Vegas Raiders enter mandatory minicamp with Maxx Crosby still working back from offseason knee surgery, but the overall injury outlook is trending positive. Brock Bowers is fully healthy after knee issues limited him in 2025, while Taron Johnson and Nakobe Dean are expected to be available with no major injury concerns. Crosby remains the key player to monitor as the Raiders ramp up toward training camp.

Maxx Crosby - Knee

Crosby did not participate in minicamp practices as he continues to manage a knee issue, but he was present throughout the offseason program and reportedly looked healthy. The decision to hold him out appears to have been precautionary, and there have been no indications of a significant setback.

The Raiders are expected to have Crosby fully available for training camp, and there are currently no major concerns surrounding his status heading into the 2026 season.

Brock Bowers - Knee

Bowers enters the 2026 season fully healthy after dealing with a PCL injury and bone bruise in his left knee that limited him throughout much of the 2025 campaign and eventually landed him on injured reserve. The star tight end has been a full participant during Raiders OTAs with no restrictions and has stated that he feels "100%" entering the year. He is expected to be a full participant at mandatory minicamp and appears poised for another productive season.

Taron Johnson - Contract

Johnson's absence from the early portion of Raiders OTAs was contract-related rather than injury-related. The veteran cornerback, who was seeking additional guaranteed money on his current deal, missed roughly the first two weeks of voluntary workouts before returning to the field in early June. Johnson is expected to be a full participant at mandatory minicamp with no health concerns entering the 2026 season.

Nakobe Dean - Absent

Dean did not participate in on-field work during minicamp as he continues to recover from an undisclosed injury, believed to be either a soft-tissue issue or part of an ongoing management plan. He remained with the team throughout the offseason program but was held out of practices as a precaution.

The Raiders expectation is that Dean will be ready for full participation by training camp, with the organization emphasizing a cautious approach to player health during the spring. At this point, there have been no indications of a setback or concern that would threaten his availability for the start of the season.
