Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant has a bone bruise in his sprained left ankle, leaving his status for the rest of the series against the Lakers in serious doubt.
Durant suffered the ankle injury in the Rockets’ Game 2 loss and has missed the past three games. The Rockets have won the last two, pushing the series to Game 6.
According to Pro Football Doc, if Durant is indeed dealing with an ankle bone bruise, he will not return this series against the Lakers.
“If Kevin Durant does indeed have an ankle bone bruise, he will not return this series against the Lakers,” Pro Football Doc said.
Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday, with Game 6 set for Friday and Game 7 on Sunday, if necessary.
Durant has played in only one game so far against Los Angeles. He missed Game 1 because of a knee injury.
