Pittsburgh Steelers rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett has been ruled out as he undergoes a concussion evaluation after a sack in the first quarter.
By video, Pickett was slammed down on a sack with just over 11 minutes left in the first quarter, then went to the blue injury tent.
The rookie QB returned to the sideline after evaluation from the unaffiliated neurologic consultant, but went to the locker room after playing one offensive series.
Mitch Trubisky is in to replace him.
If Pickett does have a concussion, he would likely be out for Week 15 against the Panthers.
