Jimmy Butler Calf Injury Update, Analysis and Impact

Miami Heat star forward Jimmy Butler missed another game on Thursday Dec 28 against the Golden State Warriors due to a calf injury.
It was the fourth consecutive game Butler was sidelined by the injury which occurred on Dec 18 against the TImberwolves.
Butler was reportedly on track to return for Christmas day but remained sidelined.
When is Jimmy Butler Expected to Return?
The Heat's game against the Warriors was the first of a five-game West Coast road trip. Butler is reportedly travelling with the team and his next opportunity to return will be Saturday Dec 30 in Salt Lake City against the Utah Jazz. Following that game, the Heat visit Los Angeles to play against the Clippers on Jan 1, Lakers on Jan 3 and finish the road trip in Phoenix against the Suns on Jan 5.
Jimmy Butler Calf Injury Impact
This season Butler, 34, averages 21.5 points and 5.2 rebounds to go along with a team-leading 4.6 assists in 23 games. In his absence, rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. has been starting in his place. Butler has missed the past four games, however Miami Heat has won each game in this period.
