Jets Offensive Line Woes Deepen in Week 8

New York Jets starting center Connor McGovern was carted to the locker room with a potentially significant left knee injury.

By video, McGovern likely suffered a patellar tendon rupture when he went down early in the second quarter.

His replacement, Wes Schweitzer, left the game before halftime with a calf injury and was ruled out.

Guard Xavier Newman took over from there, but the Jets offensive line problems deepened with the Week 8 game.

They are already without Duane Brown, Alijah Vera-Tucker, Joe Tippman. Their offensive line situation is key to monitor ahead of next Monday's matchup against the Chargers.
