J.C. Jackson Injury: Chargers CB Appears to Suffer Severe Knee Injury

Los Angeles Chargers No. 1 cornerback J.C. Jackson appeared to suffer a severe right knee injury while in coverage late in the first half against the Seahawks.

By video, Jackson appeared to suffer the injury on a misstep with his right foot before attempting to jump and break up a pass.

Based on multiple videos, the Pro Football Docs have significant worry for a torn patella tendon for the Chargers' big free agent signing.

Jackson was carted to the locker room with an air cast placed on his right leg. He was ruled out a short time later.

If confirmed, his season would be over.

He had a slow start to the season after having surgery to remove an extra bone in his right ankle. Jackson logged 15 combines tackles and 2 passes defended in five games played this season.
