Jaycee Horn Injury: Panthers CB Appears to Suffer Severe Wrist Injury

Carolina's No. 1 cornerback Jaycee Horn reportedly suffered a broken wrist in the team's 37-23 win over the Lions.
By video, Horn suffered the injury when he took a hard hit to his left arm when he tackled Josh Reynolds on a 26-yard completion.
The 2021 No. 8 overall pick immediately grabbed at his left wrist/forearm area and left the game.
After the game, defensive end Brian Burns said it was his understanding that Horn suffered a broken wrist.
It was later reported that Horn has a radius fracture. That type of fracture could require surgery, but he has a chance to return with a cast if Carolina can sneak into the playoffs.
Carolina heads to Tampa Bay for a huge matchup in Week 17. The Panthers (6-9) are currently a half-game back of the Buccaneers in the NFC South, pending the result of Tampa Bay's Christmas night matchup with the Cardinals.
With Horn out, cornerbacks Keith Taylor Jr. and T.J. Carrie could see increased snaps.
