Jalon Daniels Injury: Kansas QB Exits With Shoulder Ailment
2 min read • October 08, 2022
Jalon Daniels has been one of the sensations on an undefeated Kansas Jayhawks team. He’s thrown for 983 yards and 11 touchdowns. But after scrambling in his most recent game versus TCU, Daniels was slow to get up.
According to the College Football Docs, Daniels is unlikely to return after suffering a shoulder subluxation with possible AC joint involvement. Daniels returned from the locker room without pads on.
This type of injury typically leads to a 1-2 week absence for a quarterback.
Before going out, Daniels was 5 of 10 for 89 yards. His backup, Jason Bean, is 10 of 12 for 169 yards and 3 touchdowns on the day.
This game is a big test for the Jayhawks as their opponent is also undefeated.
