During the second quarter of the NFL Week 13 game between the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars, quarterback Trevor Lawrence exited the game.
Lawrence was hit late on a slide attempt which caused his head to hit the ground.
He will be ruled out due to posturing which is obvious visual signs of concussion and will enter the NFL concussion protocol.
This is the 2nd documented concussion of his career, his first being in December 2023.
In his absence backup Mac Jones will be the quarterback for the remainder of the game.
The Jaguars next game is Week 14 Sunday against the divisional rival the Titans in Nashville.
Stay tuned for more updates on Trevor Lawrence this week.
