Is Paul George's Left Knee Soreness a Big Concern?

The Clippers' star guard has now missed 2 straight games with left knee soreness, but the injury designation is not a concern for the Pro Basketball Docs.

Now in the dog days of the season, the team likely making sure he is 100% healthy for playoff stretch. The Clippers (37-19) currently sit in fourth place in the Western Conference, 3.5 games ahead of the fifth place Pelicans and 1 game behind the third place Denver Nuggets.

It's a positive sign that George is still participating in shootarounds despite not suiting up for game action.

He did suffer a significant right knee injury last season, but this issue is unrelated.

In 52 games this season, George has averaged 22.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists while shooting 45.6% from the field and 39.5% from 3-point range.
