Heat Injury Report: Will Kyle Lowry Play in Game 5 After Reaggravating Hamstring Injury?

The Miami Heat may have to endure a pivotal Game 5 matchup on Tuesday without starting point guard Kyle Lowry.

Kyle Lowry Injury Update

Lowry is listed as questionable for Tuesday's matchup and appeared to reinjure his hamstring during the Game 4 loss to the 76ers.

The 6-time All-Star grabbed at the back of his left leg at several points during Sunday's loss. He went to the locker room for a brief stint in the second quarter, but returned shortly and finished the game.

The 36-year-old has been dealing with the hamstring strain since April 22, the Game 3 loss to the Atlanta Hawks. He missed four games with the injury, including the first two games of the current series against Philadelphia.

After the apparent reaggravation in Sunday's loss, the Pro Basketball Docs are not optimistic about his chances of playing effectively.

Injury Impact on the Heat

Lowry has continued to distribute the ball well in his two games back, but has scored just six points combined.

If Lowry misses the game, Gabe Vincent and Victor Oladipo would likely see increased minutes. Tyler Herro led the Heat with 7 assists in Game 1, then Jimmy Butler had 12 assists in Game 2.

76ers vs Heat Game 5 Odds

The Heat are 3 point favorites at home in Game 5 and the over/under is 209.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Miami is at -146 to win the series and +650 to win the NBA Finals.
