The Green Bay Packers enter mandatory minicamp in relatively good health compared to many teams around the league, though several key contributors are still working their way back from injuries that impacted the 2025 season. Edge rusher Micah Parsons remains the most notable recovery as he continues rehab from a torn ACL suffered late last season. Green Bay's ability to get healthier entering training camp could be a major factor as the Packers attempt to build on their playoff aspirations in 2026.

Micah Parsons – ACL

Parsons, who underwent surgery to repair a torn left ACL on December 29, 2025, and an additional procedure to “clean up” his meniscus in late May, stated that the Packers have a strict nine-month rehab rule for ACL recovery, making mid-October 2026 his tentative return date. Given his significance for both the 2026 season and Green Bay’s long-term plans, the Packers are taking every precaution with his recovery. Parsons is expected to be placed on the PUP list at the start of training camp and will likely remain sidelined during the early portion of the regular season.

Jordan Love – Knee and Groin

Quarterback Jordan Love enters the 2026 offseason healthy after battling through multiple injuries during the 2025 campaign. Love suffered an MCL sprain early in the season and later dealt with a groin injury that limited his mobility at various points throughout the year. To his credit, he missed minimal time and continued to play through both issues, but there were stretches where he was clearly less effective outside the pocket than Packers fans had become accustomed to seeing. The offseason has allowed Love to fully recover, and he is expected to participate without restrictions during minicamp and training camp. Given how much Green Bay's offense relies on his movement skills, off-platform throws, and ability to extend plays, a healthy Love could be one of the biggest reasons for optimism heading into the 2026 season.

Tucker Kraft - ACL

Kraft remains in the rehabilitation phase after suffering a torn ACL in November 2025. The Packers tight end has been present for meetings and rehab activities during OTAs but has not yet returned to on-field work. He is expected to attend mandatory minicamp, though his participation will likely be limited as he continues his recovery. Coaches have indicated Kraft is ahead of schedule, with a return during training camp appearing realistic and Week 1 availability remaining a possibility.

Update: While Kraft acknowledged that opening training camp on the PUP list remains a possibility, he believes his recovery has gone so well that he will have ample time to regain conditioning before the regular season. "With how I feel, I would say I'm gonna get all the conditioning I need in camp to start Week 1 on no pitch count," Kraft said during Packers minicamp.

Josh Jacobs - Personal

Jacobs appears fully healthy entering the 2026 season after dealing with minor knee and ankle issues during the 2025 campaign. His absence from portions of the voluntary OTA program was not injury-related, and he has since returned to practice. Jacobs is expected to be a full participant at training camp and has shown no visible limitations as he prepares for another lead-back role in Green Bay.

Christian Watson – ACL

Watson bounced back from the torn ACL he suffered in Green Bay's 2024 regular-season finale to have a productive 2025 campaign, finishing with 35 catches for 611 yards and six touchdowns across 10 games before a chest injury cut his season short in December. Now heading into 2026, Watson appears to be in the best shape of his offseason in years. He noted this week that it's "a lot smoother of an offseason" being able to do everything healthy, rather than recovering from an injury.

Zach Tom - Patellar Tendon

Tom remains limited during Packers OTAs as he continues recovering from offseason surgery to repair a partially torn patellar tendon in his knee. The veteran offensive lineman has not yet returned to full participation and is being brought along cautiously as part of his rehabilitation process. Tom is expected to attend mandatory minicamp, though his workload will likely remain limited. The Packers are targeting training camp as the more realistic timeline for his full return to action.

Jordan Morgan – Shoulder

Morgan enters the 2026 season healthy after shoulder injuries limited portions of his rookie campaign in 2024. Despite the early setbacks, he played 819 snaps across four different positions last season, showcasing his versatility by lining up at left tackle, left guard, right guard, and right tackle.

The Packers have installed Morgan as their projected starting left tackle following Rasheed Walker's departure and have expressed confidence in both his development and physical tools. He was a full participant during the offseason program and is expected to be a full go for training camp, where he'll have the opportunity to solidify one of the most important positions on Green Bay's offensive line.
