Free Bets to Celebrate the Sports Equinox

For the 27th time ever, all four of the major sports will hold a game on the same day in what scientists call a sports equinox. Not only the 4 majors, but college football and the MLS have a entered the ring setting up a delightful day of sporting.

With so many games, injury advantages are aplenty meaning there are angles to exploit heading into tonight's slate. Listed below is a pick from each sport:

NFL: New Orleans Saints/Arizona Cardinals U44

Both offenses are hampered significantly heading into TNF. Stars like Michael Thomas, Jarvis Landry and James Conner will likely all be out meaning scoring will be down. Each team is missing their LGs which will impact the offense negatively- expect a low scoring Thursday affair

NBA: 76ers -4

The 76ers will start a healthy starting 5 heading into the key Eastern Conference matchup but the Bucks will be without star forward Khris Middleton. This effects them even more with their depth already thin as Pat Connaughton (calf) and Joe Ingles (ACL) are out to start the year. Pick Philadelphia to rebound from an opening night loss.

NHL: Senators ML

The Capitals came into the NHL season with key pieces of the team on the IR (Backstrom and Wilson) and although they have won their last two games they started 0-2 - looking overall inconsistent. Now star center Evgeny Kuznetsov is out due to suspension. Expect the Capitals to lack firepower and loss to the young, upstart Senators.

MLB: Astros ML

The Yankees carry the lowest SIC Score in the MLB playoffs and after losing Game 1 show no signs of improving. Their missing key bats in LeMahieu and Benintendi while the Astros have played through the loss of Michael Brantley with great play from Chas McCormick. Another win at home before heading to New York is the likely scenario for the healthier Astros team.

Bonus:

MLS: LA Galaxy ML

In the battle of LA, LAFC is the most recent winner scoring a 3-2 victory in early August. Now when it really matters expect the Galaxy to win in the crucial rivalry. Former star Gareth Bale is left leg issue and may come off the bench but will likely be ineffective as he has for most of the season. Take the Galaxy in what will be a rock fight playoff game.

CFB: Virginia +3

Georgia Tech are dealing with undisclosed injury issues to their star QB Jeff Sims and top wideout Malachi Carter. Even if one misses if will be a boon for the Cavaliers defense that allowed 34+ points in back to back games. Virginia will likely have wideout Billy Kemp back after he left last week with an ankle issue. Take the points with Virginia in flaccid ACC matchup.
