Returned to game despite right groin strain - surprising given the wet weather and his lingering back problem - unlikely to be fully effective and injury will linger next week against San Francisco.
Cox will be a key status to watch ahead of next week's matchup against the 49ers.
He did not have a tackle before exiting in the first half.
