Call him what you will, there’s no debate he will be back on the court for Game 3.
While he's officially listed as questionable, the Pro Basketball Docs expect the Heat star guard will be available for his usual minutes in Saturday’s Game 3 in Miami.
Based on the injury mechanism and recent video of his ankle recovery progress, Butler carries a SIC score of 82 for the game, indicating that he will still have limited mobility despite his return.
The main downgrade will be on the defensive end and when changing directions driving to the hoop.
On a healthy ankle in Round 1 against the Bucks, Butler averaged 37.6 points per game on 61% shooting from the field and 44.4% from the 3-point line.
In Game 1 against New York, he had 25 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists on 50% shooting and was 0-1 from 3.
The Heat are favored by 4 points at home in Game 3 and the over/under is 209.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
Miami is -116 to win the series, while the Knicks are at -102.
