The Philadelphia Eagles improved to 10-2 with a 24-19 victory over Baltimore, however late in the game tight end Dallas Goedert exited with a knee injury when tackled on a catch.
By video, Goedert may have sustained a PCL injury.
It is likely not season-ending because the Eagles are likely a playoff team and he should be back by the playoffs. The PCL injury to the injury sustained by Christian McCaffrey in Sunday Night Football of Week 13.
Although initially it was reported as Goedert had avoided a serious injury, an MRI today confirmed a knee injury which has led to Goedert being listed as week-to-week.
Against Baltimore, Goedert caught three passes for 35 yards and a touchdown, bringing his season totals to 38 receptions, 441 yards, and two touchdowns. The Eagles play the Panthers in Week 14 and have a critical Week 15 clash with the Steelers however Goedert's availability will be in doubt.
If Goedert is sidelined, backup Grant Calcaterra is poised to step up, and C.J. Uzomah could be elevated from the practice squad to provide additional depth.
Stay tuned for more updates on Dallas Goedert this week.
