Update: Smith finished with 7 catches for 100 yards and was the game's leading receiver. He appeared unaffected by his left ankle scare.
Philadelphia Eagles' second-year wide receiver DeVonta Smith appeared to suffer a minor left ankle sprain on a red zone catch late in the second quarter of the Super Bowl.
By video, Smith's sprain was minor and he should be able to return for Philadelphia without any limitations, according to the Pro Football Docs.
The 2020 Heisman Trophy winner made five receptions for 50 yards, including three for 41 yards on the Eagles' opening touchdown drive.
AJ Brown, meanwhile, made two catches for 51 yards and one score.
