During the third quarter of the NFL Week 12 game between the Detroit Lions and Indianapolis Colts, running back David Montgomery exited the field after a strong run.
By video David Montgomery suffered a mild AC joint sprain, he is questionable to return.
In his absence expect RB Jahmyr Gibbs will be the lead running back.
Montgomery remained on the sideline during the fourth quarter. He said post-game that he could have returned but the Lions decided to keep him out.
The Lions next game is on Thanksgiving against NFC North rival and Montgomery's former team the Chicago Bears. Montgomery said post-game he will be good to play.
