Update: Cook has returned to the game, confirming that his left knee issue was minor. He had 5 rushes for 20 yards before exiting.
Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook left early in the second quarter after suffering an apparent left knee injury.
By video, Cook appeared to suffer a mild left knee contusion when collided with his own offensive lineman on a run, according to the Pro Football Docs. It is unlikely to affect his availability or effectiveness in the Wild Card round.
Cook was checked in the medical tent, then was quickly back on the sidelines.
He may not return to the game given that the Vikings just have seeding to play for.
They can move up to the two seed if the 49ers lose to the Cardinals in the afternoon slot.
