Cooper Kupp Injury: Rams WR Leaves With Right Ankle Sprain

Los Angeles Rams star wideout Cooper Kupp suffered an apparent right ankle injury late in the loss to the 49ers.

By video, Kupp had his right ankle landed on by linebacker Fred Warner on a 6-yard completion with a minute left in the game.

Based on the injury mechanism, Kupp suffered a mild inversion ankle sprain, according to the Pro Football Docs. He was likely spared by the fact his foot was not planted when he was landed on.

Depending on overnight swelling, he should be available next week against the Buccaneers.

He finished with 8 catches for 79 yards and a touchdown, plus two rushes for 10 yards.
