Colts RB Jonathan Taylor Reinjures Ankle, Finishes Game

Colts running back Jonathan Taylor appeared to reaggravate his right ankle sprain in the first quarter against the Commanders, but returned and finished the game.

By video, Taylor appeared to reaggravate his Week 4 right ankle sprain on a 27-yard run in the first quarter.

Taylor exited the game, but returned and had his next carry with just under 5 minutes left in the second quarter. 

He had 5 rushes for 38 yards before injury and 11 carries for 38 yards after returning.

Nyheim Hines finished with 5 carries for 20 yards and a touchdown, plus 2 carries for 29 yards.

The Colts face New England in Week 9 and Taylor's practice pattern will be something the track heading into the matchup.
