The Celtics upgraded center Robert Williams III to questionable for their bout with the Bucks on Wednesday.
Wednesday, May 11 will be exactly six weeks since the defensive dynamo underwent the procedure to repair a partially-torn meniscus.
Six weeks was the original recovery timeline, and the timetable that the ProBasketballDocs gave for Williams III to be fully healed.
Williams III will likely continue to be on a minutes restriction throughout at least this series.
The 24-year-old is averaging 8.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks in 23.3 minutes per game this series, up from only 2.5 points in 15 minutes per game in the first round.
In the three games without Williams III this playoffs, Al Horford has scored 24 points and brought in 9.67 rebounds while shooting 67.6% on 37 total attempts. In the five games Williams III has played, the grizzled veteran is averaging 12.2 points on 9.6 field goal attempts per game and has scored 20-or-more only once.
The Bucks, meanwhile, scored 96.67 points per game in the first three games and dropped a series-high 108 in Game 4.
