The Buffalo Bills enter mandatory minicamp with several key veterans still working through injuries from the 2025 season. Wide receiver Joshua Palmer remains limited as he recovers from multiple lower-body injuries, while defensive lineman Michael Hoecht continues his comeback from a torn Achilles. The Bills are also closely monitoring offensive tackles Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown as both work their way back toward full participation ahead of training camp.

Joshua Palmer - Ankle

Palmer was limited during offseason activities as he continues recovering from the high-ankle sprain, knee issues, and hip problems that ended his 2025 season. The veteran receiver worked off to the side with trainers and has not returned to full practice participation. His recovery has progressed slower than expected, making him a candidate to remain limited or sidelined during minicamp.

Michael Hoecht - Achilles

Hoecht remains sidelined as he recovers from the torn right Achilles he suffered in November against the Chiefs. The veteran defender is currently limited to rehab and sideline work during OTAs but is reportedly progressing well. Hoecht has targeted a July 1 return and remains on track to participate in some capacity during training camp.

Spencer Brown - Back/Left Leg

Brown was limited during Bills OTAs as he manages ongoing back issues and a recent left leg/quad concern. The veteran tackle has been present but has not participated in full on-field work, instead working on the side while wearing a sleeve on his left leg. Brown is expected to attend mandatory minicamp, though his level of participation will likely remain limited as the team continues to manage his recovery.

Dion Dawkins - Foot

Dawkins has been limited during Bills OTAs as he continues to recover from the left leg and foot issues that affected him late in the 2025 season. The veteran left tackle was seen in a walking boot during the offseason and has not participated in on-field work during media-viewed practices, focusing instead on conditioning and recovery. Dawkins is expected to attend mandatory minicamp, though he may begin with a limited workload as he ramps up toward training camp.
