Brandon Ingram Suffers Sprained Ankle, Unlikely To Miss Time

Star wing Brandon Ingram rolled his left ankle during the Pelicans' Game 2 win over the Suns but remained in the contest.

Ingram appeared to suffer a minor left ankle inversion sprain in the third on a non-contact play while trying to find his footing on the sideline.

It was a minor sprain and because he has suffered previous sprains on that ankle he suffered minimal new damage and will be able to play through it.

The 24-year-old former No. 2 overall pick scored 37 points with 11 rebounds and nine assists in 39 minutes, one assist away from his first career triple-double.

The No. 8 seed Pelicans take on the Suns for Game 3 of the series in New Orleans on Friday.
