The Arizona Cardinals enter mandatory minicamp with several key players at different stages of recovery. Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is participating after an injury-plagued 2025 season, while running backs James Conner and Trey Benson continue to work back from significant injuries. Defensive lineman Walter Nolen III and cornerback Garrett Williams are also among the players being monitored ahead of training camp.

Kaleb Proctor - Meniscus

Proctor suffered a torn meniscus during OTAs, a significant setback for the rookie defensive tackle. He remained sidelined throughout minicamp and is expected to spend the foreseeable future focused on rehabilitation.

Given the timing and severity of the injury, Proctor is likely to miss most, if not all, of the 2026 season as he recovers.

James Conner - Foot/Ankle

Conner remains limited during Cardinals OTAs as he continues recovering from the right foot/ankle injury that required surgery after Week 3 of the 2025 season. While Conner is present and working with trainers, Arizona is taking a cautious approach with the veteran running back heading into his age-31 season.

Trey Benson - Meniscus

Benson remains limited during Cardinals OTAs as he continues recovering from the meniscus injury that ended his 2025 season. Benson underwent arthroscopic knee surgery shortly after suffering the injury in Week 4 and was placed on injured reserve, ultimately missing the final 13 games of the year. While he has returned to the practice field this spring, Arizona is continuing to manage his workload as he works his way back to full strength.

Walter Nolen III - Meniscus

Nolen remains limited during Cardinals OTAs as he continues recovering from the torn meniscus that ended his 2025 season. Nolen missed the first seven games of his rookie year after beginning the season on the PUP list with a calf injury, then appeared in six games before suffering a non-contact knee injury in Week 16 against the Falcons. The meniscus tear required a stint on injured reserve and ended his season. The good news is that Nolen is trending toward being fully available for training camp, with no indications that the injury will impact his long-term outlook.

Garrett Williams - Achilles

Williams remains sidelined after tearing his Achilles tendon in Week 16 against the Falcons. He is expected to miss minicamp and is considered a strong candidate to begin the 2026 season on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
