Anthony Walker Jr. Injury: Browns' MLB Carted Off With Knee Injury

The Browns came into Thursday night's matchup with the Steelers without defensive tackle Jadaveon Clowney and will leave Week 3 with health questions about three other key defensive players.

Veteran middle linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. was carted off donning an aircast on his left leg after he was knocked down by Chukwuma Okorafor.

Based on limited video, the Pro Football Docs have worry for an extensor tendon injury to his quadriceps or patella tendon. Walker Jr.'s knee gave out while he was bracing for an incoming block before any contact from a Steelers' offensive lineman.

His right leg was stepped on by 327-pound guard James Daniels, but the main injury is to his left knee.

He was quickly ruled out and will miss the remainder of the season if the extensor tendon injury is confirmed by MRI.

Earlier in the second half, versatile outside linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Karamoah suffered groin strain and didn't return to the contest.

Owusu-Karamoah limped and grabbed at his left groin attempting to chase after a ball-carrier after a quick transition from shuffling to sprinting.

Safety Ronnie Harrison Jr. reportedly suffered a hamstring injury during his pre-game warmups and was inactive for the contest.
