Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson exited late in the second quarter after an apparent right throwing shoulder injury.
By video, he likely suffered an AC joint sprain and/or a separated shoulder when he was slammed to the turf on the tackle, according to our panel of doctors.
He has been ruled out for the game.
He was taken to the locker room for evaluation and X-rays. The Pro Football Docs are not expecting a broken collarbone to be in play for him.
Unfortunately for the Colts, this is an issue that will linger multiple weeks and he will require pain-numbing injections to play through.
Gardner Minshew is in the game at quarterback and may start next week against Jacksonville.
Richardson was injured on his second carry of the game.
He suffered a knee bone bruise on a run Week 1, then a concussion Week 2 that knocked him out Week 3.
