Anfernee Simons Injury Update

Portland Trailblazers star guard Anfernee Simons is out until late November or early December with a right thumb injury he suffered in the team's first game of the season.

Simons suffered a torn UCL in his right thumb midway through the fourth quarter on Oct. 25 against the Clippers. Simons underwent successful right thumb surgery on Oct. 31.

His absence will likely lead to more time for veteran guard Malcolm Brogdon and second-year guard Shaedon Sharpe.
