Aaron Jones Injury: Packers RB Leaves With Ankle Issue

Packers running back Aaron Jones exited with an ankle injury in the middle of the third quarter against the Lions and was deemed questionable to return.

By video, Jones' ankle issue did not appear severe and he should be able to return to the game, according to the Pro Football Docs.

He jogged to the locker room with only one athletic trainer, a good sign that he will be able to return after getting his ankle taped.

Jones had 9 runs for 25 yards before exiting.

A.J. Dillon will get the running back work if Jones can't return.

Packers wideout Christian Watson is also questionable to return while undergoing a concussion evaluation.

Fellow rookie WR Romeo Doubs exited the contest earlier with a high ankle sprain.
