De'Von Achane - Shoulder - SIC Score 94
Achane underwent an offseason shoulder clean-up procedure after the shoulder injury that caused him to miss the Dolphins' regular-season finale in Week 18. Despite the injury, he still posted career highs in rushing production during the 2025 season.
The dynamic running back was limited to individual drills and walk-throughs during OTAs and mandatory minicamp as he continued his recovery and did not participate in full team periods. The Dolphins have consistently downplayed the significance of the procedure, viewing it as routine maintenance rather than a major concern. The shoulder is expected to recover well, with the greater long-term focus remaining on the health of Achane's knees. Barring an unexpected setback, Achane is expected to be ready for the start of training camp and fully available for Week 1.
Cam Skattebo - Ankle - SIC Score 88
Skattebo's rookie season ended abruptly in Week 8 with a dislocated ankle that required surgery, cutting short a breakout campaign after seven-plus games. His recovery has progressed well since, present for voluntary workouts in April, running and agility drills at minicamp in June, and full 11-on-11 team drills by mid-June. He's expected to be a participant early in camp, which opens July 30, and carries a questionable tag with a standard August 1 estimated return. The ankle should be fully recovered, and everything reported so far points to a normal recovery, but his refusal to tone down his aggressive style of play is exactly what makes him a fan favorite while also keeping him at real risk for future injury.

Bucky Irving - Foot/ Right Shoulder - SIC Score 90
Irving continues to recover from the foot and shoulder injuries that limited him to just 10 games during the 2025 season. The shoulder issue ultimately required surgery in late February/early March 2026, which has dictated much of his offseason rehabilitation timeline.
For most of the Buccaneers' voluntary OTA program, Irving was limited to rehabilitation work and did not participate in team drills. However, he took a significant step forward on June 11, returning to the practice field and participating in individual work, including catching passes during on-field drills. While he has not yet returned to full-contact activities, the progression is an encouraging sign roughly three months after surgery. He is likely to be healthy for the season, but he has not yet been fully cleared.
James Conner - Foot - SIC Score 75
Conner suffered a foot injury in Week 3 of last season that required season-ending surgery. He's still working back from it, limited to side work with trainers during OTAs in early June. The Cardinals never publicly disclosed the exact anatomical diagnosis, whether a Lisfranc injury, midfoot fracture, or syndesmotic injury extending into the foot. The need for surgery led many analysts to believe it was more significant than a routine ankle sprain, but the team never released a more specific diagnosis. This latest setback fits a long pattern for the 31-year-old, who dealt with durability concerns in each of his first seven pro seasons, a mix of rib, shin, shoulder, quad, ankle, and knee injuries, plus a bout with Hodgkin's lymphoma early in his career. He did have his healthiest stretch in 2023-2024, missing only a handful of games across those two 1,000-yard seasons before last year's foot injury wiped out the rest of 2025. Given that extensive history and his advancing age, health remains a major swing factor for Conner entering 2026.
Zach Charbonnet - Torn ACL - SIC Score 59
Charbonnet is currently recovering from a torn ACL suffered in last season's divisional-round playoffs, requiring surgery in mid-February with an estimated return date of September 9. Placed on active PUP to begin training camp as he continues recovering from a torn ACL. The 8 to 10 month recovery timeline points to a likely start on the PUP list, with a return to better production expected later in the season, making 2026 largely a lost year for him. He's shown encouraging progress, doing light on-field work at minicamp in June after being limited to conditioning drills earlier, with no indication of setbacks so far. His practice status and further updates as camp approaches will be the key things to track for his availability.
J.K. Dobbins - Left Foot (AGE AND CUMULATIVE INJURIES) - SIC Score 90
J.K. Dobbins enters the 2026 season fully healthy after recovering from a season-ending Lisfranc ligament injury in his left foot. The injury occurred in Week 10 against the Raiders and required surgery, ending what had been an outstanding season. Before going down, Dobbins rushed for 772 yards and four touchdowns on 153 carries over 10 games while averaging 5.1 yards per attempt. He completed his rehabilitation during the offseason and was a full participant throughout OTAs and mandatory minicamp with no reported pain or limitations. Dobbins enters training camp healthy and is expected to lead the Broncos' backfield as their projected starting running back.
