Injuries are often one of the biggest reasons fantasy managers can find value in drafts. Players coming off significant injuries frequently see their average draft position fall despite being fully healthy by the start of the next season. Here are five players who enter 2026 healthy and in position to dramatically outperform their current fantasy value.

Omarion Hampton RB (Los Angeles Chargers)

Omarion Hampton enters the 2026 season fully healthy after a fractured left ankle shortened his promising rookie campaign.

Hampton suffered the injury in Week 5 and was placed on injured reserve, forcing him to miss seven games before returning in December. Although he experienced a minor ankle setback late in the season, he still finished with 545 rushing yards and four touchdowns in just nine games.

Now fully recovered, Hampton steps into a Chargers offense expected to take a significant step forward under new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel. With an improved offensive line and a more creative offensive scheme, Hampton has a chance to become one of fantasy football's biggest Year 2 breakouts.

Joe Burrow QB (Cincinnati Bengals)

Joe Burrow has all the ingredients to finish as the overall QB1 in fantasy football.

His 2025 season was derailed after suffering a severe Grade 3 turf toe injury during the second quarter of Cincinnati's Week 2 game against Jacksonville. The injury ultimately required surgery on his left toe, forcing Burrow to miss nine weeks while recovering on injured reserve.

Now fully healthy, Burrow returns to an offense loaded with weapons and one of the league's easiest schedules. Cincinnati is set to face the third-easiest schedule in the NFL, creating an ideal environment for Burrow to return to elite fantasy production.

With his mobility restored and his supporting cast healthy, Burrow has every opportunity to finish ahead of quarterbacks like Josh Allen as fantasy's top overall signal caller.

Brock Bowers TE (Las Vegas Raiders)

Brock Bowers should once again establish himself among the elite fantasy tight ends.

Bowers suffered a left PCL injury and bone bruise during the Raiders' Week 1 victory over New England. He attempted to play through the injury for three weeks before missing the next three games to recover. Although the knee continued bothering him throughout the season, he still finished with 64 receptions, 680 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in just 12 games while earning his second consecutive Pro Bowl selection.

Las Vegas eventually shut him down for the final two weeks of the season by placing him on injured reserve, allowing the knee to fully heal.

Entering 2026 with no injury concerns, Bowers should immediately return to elite TE1 status and possesses enough upside that he should rarely make it out of the first round in most fantasy drafts.

Quinshon Judkins RB (Cleveland Browns)

Quinshon Judkins is one of the easiest bounce-back candidates entering the season because there are no lingering concerns surrounding his recovery.

Judkins' outstanding rookie season came to an end in Week 16 after suffering a dislocated right ankle and fractured right fibula against Buffalo. Surgery followed on Dec. 23 after he rushed for 827 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games.

The good news is that Judkins completed his rehabilitation well ahead of training camp. He participated fully during mandatory minicamp without restrictions, showed no loss of explosiveness and handled first-team reps while also catching passes out of the backfield.

With Cleveland still facing uncertainty at quarterback, expect the Browns to lean heavily on their running game throughout the season. There is little reason to believe Judkins won't pick up exactly where he left off before the injury.

Sam LaPorta TE (Detroit Lions)

Sam LaPorta enters 2026 healthy after recovering from one of the more significant injuries suffered by a fantasy star last season.

LaPorta underwent surgery to repair a fully herniated spinal disc after repeated hits throughout the season eventually led to the injury becoming severe around Week 10. The surgery ended his 2025 season after he totaled 40 receptions, 489 receiving yards and three touchdowns in nine games.

Now fully cleared for training camp, LaPorta returns to one of the NFL's best offenses with one of the league's easiest schedules.

After finishing among the fantasy elite earlier in his career, expect LaPorta to climb right back into the upper tier of fantasy tight ends. With a healthy offseason behind him and Detroit's offense expected to remain one of the league's most productive, he has an excellent opportunity to post one of the biggest bounce-back seasons at the position.
