Washington Commanders

2022 record: 8-8-1 | 2023 FanDuel O/U win total: 6.5

Brian Robinson Jr. - SIC score 94

Robinson’s rookie season got off to a rocky start when he was shot during a robbery, causing him to miss the first four games of the season. Luckily, the wound didn’t cause any lasting damage and the Pro Football Docs expect a healthy start to the 2023 season.

Antonio Gibson - SIC score 90

Gibson battled through a stress fracture in his shin two seasons ago and has seen a limited role with the emergence of Robinson. That may change for the positive in Eric Bieniemy’s offense and he is fully healthy heading into the season.

Terry McLaurin - SIC score 93

Has been extremely durable over his four year career, missing just three games in four years. He's healthy entering his fifth season in Washington and will be looking for his third straight season of over 1,000 receiving yards.

Curtis Samuel - SIC score 91

Has a history of soft tissue strains in his young career but played in all 17 games last season. He’s at full health heading into training camp.

Logan Thomas - SIC score 87

The veteran tight end tore his ACL in December 2021 and — understandably — had a down season in 2022. He finished with 323 yards and 1 touchdown in 14 games last season but should be much healthier for training camp.

Chase Young - SIC score 68

The No. 2 overall selection in 2020 is still not fully healthy heading into training camp. Last season, the Pro Football Docs assigned him a SIC score of 63 — which ended up being too generous for his production. His ACL tear in November 2021 also included a torn patellar tendon, which necessitated a surgery in his other knee for the patellar tendon graft. That delayed his return in 2022 and he finished with no sacks in 3 games. The severity of his knee injury likely contributed to Washington’s decision to decline his fifth year option.

Jamin Davis - SIC score 86

Former Kentucky Wildcat Jamin Davis had a “minor knee clean up procedure” in the offseason after suffering an injury in Week 17 last season. He should be ready for training camp but might not be 100% until Week 1.
